PROGRAM:
1 Day: Cusco: Excursiσn Combinada
RFirst Day: Cusco - A combined Excursion
Reception at the airport in the city of Cusco,
transfer to the selected hotel where you will taste a
delicious coca-leaf tea, special because of the altitude
of the city. It is advisable to rest during the morning
to acclimatize to the altitude.
In the afternoon : A COMBINED EXCURSION, which
consists of a visit to the Main Square, the Cusco
Cathedral, the Temple of the Sun or Koricancha, typical
incas streets and a tour to 4 surrounding sites: the
Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, the Amphitheatre of Quenco,
Puca Pucara and Tambomachay.
Accommodation at the selected hotel.
Second Day : Cusco - The Sacred Valley of the Incas
Breakfast at the hotel.
A full day excursion in "the Sacred Valley of the
Incas", where we will visit the town of Pisac, its fair
and indian market ( a place where it is offered a great
variety of beautiful handicrafts). If our excursion is
on Sunday, we will attend to a Mass celebrated in the
Quechua language with the attendance of indian mayors or
Varayoc: the man with the rod. We continue our journey,
and we go to see the towns of Calca, Boya, Yucay, Lamay
and Urubamba, which is well-known as the Pearl of
Vilcanota because of its stunning countrysides and
healthy weather.
Buffet lunch is included.
Visit the "Fortress of Ollantaytambo" superb Inca
fortress made of megalithic stones. It is formed by
temples, "andenes" astonishing agricultural terraces
that outline the slopes, and joined by a complete
irrigation system and drainage.
Returning to Cusco, you will visit the town of
Chincheros antique agricultural Inca centre with a
stunning andean landscaoe, highlighted its colonial
church and its textile as well.

It is needed a Combined ticket "Boleto Turistico
Integrado" (BTI) for this excursion.
Third Day: START OF THE TREKKING- CAMPING
Early departure at 04: 00 am, arriving at the
village of San Pedro de CACHORAS. Breakfast at 06:30 am.
Here we will find the mules and horses, which will help
us along our trek. We will admire the majesty of
PADRAYOC, a snow capped mountain with an altitude of
5482 m.
Start of our trek, then we will have lunch on Rosalina
Beach at 01:00 pm. During our excursion, we will have
the opportunity of watching the CANYON OF APURIMAC, with
an impressive depth and the constantly changes of
courses of the APURIMAC RIVER.
A nine-hour day walk. We will visit the small towns of
La Colmena, La Aguada, Capuliyoc (an impressive
observing point where you have a spectacular view of all
the Valley of Apurimac), Huayhuacalle, Tinajayoc,
Cocamasana, Torwisqana, Chiquisqa ( a zone of big groves
which offer shadow and water), Playa Rosalina (this is
the lowest point as it on the borders of Apurimac river
), La Huerta and finally we will arrive in the hamlet of
Santa Rosa. We camp and have dinner in this area.
Fourth Day : ARRIVAL AT CHOQUEQUIRAO- CAMPING
Breakfast at 05:00 am. then we start our trek,
arriving at the archaeological complex of CHOQUEQUIRAO
at midday. It is the other Lost City of the Incas,
similar to Macchu Picchu, known as the Golden Chimera .
This tour includes great scenery and cultural
experiences.
Between 02:00 or 04:00 pm, and depending on the
climate, we will admire "THE FLIGHT OF THE CONDORS",
which are considered the biggest flying creatures of the
planet. Walking a bit near the site, we will watch the
"Andenes", round-shaped farming terraces on unpaved road,
where the indians used to grow corn. We will also
appreciate the beauty of some constructions on the edge
of the cliffs, which were built with an unusual mastery.
Most of them covered with the thick with vegetation of
the zone.
We will camp in RAQAYPATA (2910 metres above sea level).Our
guide will give us a wide explanation of the importance
and history of the site.
Fiveth Day : START OF THE RETURN
After having had breakfast and have visited
CHOQUEQUIRAO, we start our return. We will go down from
an altitude of 3,033 metres above the sea level, until
to get to 1950 metres above the sea level. It will be a
seven-hour trek.
We will go along the same towns that we visited when
we started our journey and will stop to have lunch in
the zone of ROSALINA BEACH at about 02:00 pm.
Then we continue until to reach CHIQUISQA, where we
camp and have dinner. Place of our Last Camping.
Sexth Day: ARRIVAL AT THE CITY OF CUSCO
At 05:00 am after having breakfast, we start our
walk to CACHORA, where we will have the opportunity to
admire again the majesty of snow capped mountains
PADRAYOC which decorate the CANYON OF APURIMAC.
A seven-hour trek. Arrival at CACHORA. Lunch. We will
visit the thermo-medicinal hot springs of CCONOC, here
we can enjoy a relaxing thermal bath, spending some
minutes of relax (don΄t forget your swimming costume!).
Upon arrival in the city of Cusco at about 10:00 at
night, you will be transferred to the hotel.
NOTE:
This excursion is guided every day from Cusco in the
early morning (04:00 am), the passengers should arrive
one day before they start the excursion, and stay one
night in the city.
We will be coming back to Cusco at 10:00 pm. The
passenger should stay again one night at the hotel.
The first and the last overnight stay in the city of
Cusco are not included in the price of the programme.

Seventh Day: CUSCO- LIMA
The Services include:
A professional tourist guide in English or
Spanish.
03 meals per day, including snack (breakfast,
lunch and dinner).
