Description of Lares Trek 8 Days

The Classic Lares Trek 8 Days tour is the perfect trek if you love history and are curious about the lives of the Inca people. The rural communities living in the Urubamba Mountains have managed to preserve their culture and traditions of weaving, raising alpaca and farming quinoa for hundreds of years. Wildland Trekking will guide you on a journey to meet local people in the Quechua communities and experience the real culture and traditions. Our local, expert guide’s first language is Quechua. He is also indigenous to the area and can communicate with the local people (families in this area speak very little Spanish).

He will teach us all about the rich culture and traditions of the Quechua and Inca people. The Classic Lares trek 8 Days has its own unique and natural beauty, from snow-capped mountain peaks of the Cordillera Urubamba to the lush sub-tropical valleys below. We will visit hot springs, see lagoons and a wide variety of Inca ruins, while ending at the “Lost City of the Inca”, Machu Picchu! Travel with Machu Picchu USA on the remote Lares Trek of Southern Peru for a magical experience!
